How to find your Warwickshire wedding photographer;

Recommendation - If you don’t have family or friends who have recently used a Coventry wedding photographer ask your florist as they see many wedding albums so they may have a Warwickshire wedding photographer that they recommend.

Styles of Photography

Photojournalism, also referred to as reportage - contemporary photojournalism is the new kid on the block when it comes to wedding photography. Gone are the formal and staged photos which have been replaced with what could be classed as snapshot photography. Photojournalism captures moments rather than poses; this means that emotions and expressions can be captured at there most natural and spontaneous, the apprehension of the groom at the alter, the chaos of the bridal preparations and the tears of laughter of the guests during the speeches. This style of wedding photography shows you most aspects of your day as it unfolds.

Traditional, sometimes referred to as classical or formal wedding photography. This is wedding photography as most people know it. This is the style that produces the skeleton of your images, usually consisting of posed shots albeit the bridal party or the guests, and importantly usually includes a group shot of all the guests that attended your wedding (guests permitting!). Although we would advise that this style of photography is kept to a minimum do not exclude it altogether otherwise you may be missing some images that are important to you (e.g. Bride and her mum) and can produce some of your guests’ favorite images.

Artisans' Style - here at Artisan we think it is important to include both styles of wedding photography when photographing your wedding giving a fresh but timeless feel to your images. Ultimately our aim is to provide you with images for you to cherish for years to come.
